How to Change Email Signature via Directify
To maintain a consistent and compliant email signature across email applications and all devices, your email signature and disclaimer will automatically populate.
Directify is a web based self-service tool that allows you to modify your own profile information, like your direct phone number, Department, Department Program, Title, Pronoun.
When you update your contact information in Directify, it will update the Global Address List which will automatically push your auto-generated email signature based on the data you entered.
Before we push the signature to your Outlook, you will need to remove your current Outlook signature. Otherwise, your sent email will list 2 signatures.
Please follow the steps below to login to Directify site:
- First, remove your current email signature and phone signature if applicable.
- Go to Directify.crdfglobal.org. Please note that the site will only be accessible when you are connected to vpn,
- Login using your CRDF Global credentials,
- Verify and update your profile information if needed,
- Click Save
The “Direct Phone Number”, “Department Program” and the “Employee Pronoun” fields are optional.
The main phone line will automatically be pushed to your signature based on your hub. So, you will have a Main phone number and an optional Direct phone number on your signature. The signature should look like this:
Important Notes:
The signature will not be visible when you open the new email window, but you can send a test to yourself to see how it looks and if you need to make any changes to it. You can also check your sent items to verify the signature.
The signature will also be displayed on email replies and forwards.
The signature will show on your phone or other devices if you are using it for CRDF Global email.
It will take up to 30 minutes before you see the updates on your email signature.
The CRDF Global disclaimer is a part of the signature.
