CRDF MFA Setup
1. On your mobile device Download the Microsoft Authenticator App from the Appstore or Play Store

2. You will be presented with More information required (see screenshot below). Click next
3. Select the radio button for Receive notifications for verification and click the blue Set Up button.
PRO TIP: DO NOT SELECT USE VERIFICATION CODE. This option is much more cumbersome. Receiving a push notification will make authenticating your account much easier!
4. On your mobile phone, open the Microsoft Authenticator App and add an account, Work or School.
a) At this step, if prompted to receive notifications or give access to the camera, please allow those.
b) On your phone select Scan QR Code
5. Using your phone’s camera, scan the QR code on your computer. Once scanning is completed, pivot back to your computer, and click the blue Next button in the bottom right corner of the window.
6. Next, ensure that Additional security verification screen is configured as follows:
a) How should we contact you? Mobile app
b) How do you want to use the mobile app? Receive notifications for verification.
NOTE: Do not select “Use verification code”. CRDF Global has chosen push notifications because they are easier for you and more secure.
c) Select the blue Next button in the right-hand corner of the window.
7. An MFA prompt will appear on your mobile phone. Please go to your mobile phone, open Microsoft Authenticator app, and click Approve on the notification. You may need to UNLOCK your phone to do so, and you will also need to verify your identity to the Microsoft Authenticator app with your fingerprint, face ID, or by entering your phone passcode.
8. After clicking Approve, you should now see ‘Verification successful. Taking you to the next step
9. Click the blue Done button to your right of your screen.
